Saving albums
How do I add an album?
Tap the + button and search by album or artist, or paste a link from Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music, Deezer, TIDAL or Bandcamp. On iPhone you can also share an album to b/side from your music app’s share menu; on a computer, Settings > Save from other apps has a bookmark button that does the same.
A link didn’t find the right album
Pick the right one from the matches, or search for it instead. If it keeps happening with one album, send us the link and we’ll look into it.
An album has no cover or streaming links yet
b/side looks them up in the background after you add an album. Most arrive within a few minutes; rarer albums can take longer and some aren’t on every service.
Your account
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen, choose Forgot your password? and enter your email. We’ll send a link to choose a new one, which works for an hour. Not there? Check your spam folder.
I signed up with Apple, Google or Facebook
Sign in with the same button. To sign in with an email and password as well, add a password in Settings > Account.
Someone else might be signed in to my account
Change your password in Settings > Account, which signs out every other device. Settings > Signed-in devices shows where you’re signed in.
Your data
Can I take my collection elsewhere?
Yes. Settings > Export your data gives you your albums and your listening history as CSV files, which open in any spreadsheet app.
How do I start over with an empty queue?
Settings > Start again clears your queue, library and history but keeps your account.
How do I delete my account?
Settings > Account > Delete account removes your account and everything in it straight away. It can’t be undone, so export first if you’d like a copy. Our privacy policy has the details.
